Facial Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients


It’s Handmade:
All of our products are handmade. No two products will ever be exactly the same; nor are they always made by the same person. Scents may vary slightly from order to order. Sometimes the “batch” may seem to turn out better than others.

This is all normal and should be expected when the items are made by hand. Of course care is always taken to ensure that the general quality is similar, but some variations will likely occur.



Face Cream Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients:



General Product Information:
Our face cream does not use any mineral oil; instead it is made with plant butters, waxes and vegetable oils as a cream base. Our face cream only uses essential oils, are color free and only use small amounts of preservative, making our cream non-greasy and mild to the skin.



How is it different, and why?


You will notice some differences with our cream that you may not be used to. You probably have always used cream that is made with mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petroleum based product that does not absorb into the skin well. Mineral oil coats the skin creating the illusion that you are being moisturized and protected. Although a layer on your skin has been achieved, without absorption in your skin it will not solve the original problem of dry skin. Vegetable oils and plant butters are readily absorbed into the skin for quick moisturizing. In time they will also help to rectify the problem of chronic dry skin, and constant re-application will not be as necessary.

Shelf life expediency is approximately two years.

Face Toner Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients:



How is it different, and why?

Our alcohol free facial toners use floral waters and herbal blends selected for your facial type. Each has it's own gentle scent from the floral and herbals extracts, no synthetic fragrances have been added.



Care and Usage Instructions:

To use: wash your face, apply a small amount using a cotton ball, and moisturize as usual. Shelf life is approximately one year.

Ingredients: Water, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Orange) Flower Distillate orange flower water, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Water, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, lemon juice, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.





Dry Skin Toner
Ingredients: water, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Distillate, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.



Normal Skin Toner
Ingredients: water, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Water,

Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Water, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) extract, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.







Facial Cleanser Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients:

Soft soap is our gentle facial cleanser that is not a solid soap bar, but a soft semi-solid cleansing cream. The first part of your daily facial care system is to gently cleanse your face to rid it of any dirt and makeup. Squeeze out only as much as you need and begin to massage into your face to create a mild lather. Our soft soap is a luxurious blend of cleansing soap and cream that cleanses and moisturizes at the same time. It also works great as a facial cleanser, and makeup remover in one. What could be easier? Shelf life expectancy is approximately 2 years.

and Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.







Facial Steams Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients:



Care and Usage Instructions:

To use, boil 2 liters (2 quarts) of water. Pour the water into a large bowl or pot and add half of the jar of herbs. While allowing your herbs to seep wash your face. Once the water has cooled down slightly, cover your head and the bowl with a towel. Allow your face to steam for 10 - 15 minutes, coming up for air if necessary.

If you are feeling too hot, or dizzy discontinue treatment and allow the water to cool more, or stop steam completely. Shelf life: does not expire however; potency of herbs may reduce with time.

Herbal ingredients: Rosa Damascena (Rose), Calendula Officinalis (calendula), Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm), Linum Usitatissmum (flaxseed), Oleoresin Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) and Althea Offinalis Root (marshmallow).






Dry Skin Herbal Facial Steam
Herbal ingredients: Rosa Centifolia Flower (Rose), Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender), Borago Officinalis (Borage), Linum Usitatissmum (flaxeed), Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) and Althea Offinalis Root (marshmallow).
