Body Lotion Care/Usage Instructions and Ingredients



It’s Handmade:
All of our products are handmade. No two products will ever be exactly the same; nor are they always made by the same person. Colors and scents may vary slightly from order to order. Sometimes the “batch” may seem to turn out better than others. This is all normal and should be expected when the items are made by hand. Of course care is always taken to ensure that the general quality is similar, but some variations will likely occur.


General Product Information:
Our body lotion does not use any mineral oil; instead it is made with plant butters, waxes and vegetable oils as a cream base. Our body lotion only uses small amounts of preservative, making our lotion non-greasy and mild to the skin.


How is it different, and why?
You will notice some differences with our lotion that you may not be used to. You probably have always used lotion that is made with mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petroleum based product that does not absorb into the skin well. Mineral oil coats the skin creating the illusion that you are being moisturized and protected. Although a layer on your skin has been achieved, without absorption in your skin it will not solve the original problem of dry skin. Vegetable oils and plant butters are readily absorbed into the skin for quick moisturizing. In time they will also help to rectify the problem of chronic dry skin, and constant re-application will not be as necessary.


Care and Usage Instructions:
Shelf life expediency is approximately two years. To keep your colors vibrant, do not store lotions anywhere near the sun or florescent lights.

Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, FD&C color, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Basic Bliss Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Citrus Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Yellow #5, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Coconut Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Jasmine Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, FD&C Red #40, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Lavender Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, lavender Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Lemongrass Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil (lemongrass), FD&C yellow #5, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Mango Body Lotion
Ingredients: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Sodium Acrylate, C13-C14 Isoparaffin, Canola Oil, Laureth-7, fragrance, FD&C Red #40, Yellow #5, Diazolidinyl Urea.

Peppermint Body Lotion
